Guidelines to Prevent
This is the most unfortunate event or accident that could really take away all your happiness, but remember that they cannot be stopped or controlled but surely can be prevented. And all this would depend upon both the parents. Remember it all depends upon the mother as to increase her chances of having a healthy baby. And here are some guidelines and dos and don’ts that need to be followed to for a safe and healthy delivery.
So here’s what you need to do:
First of all have plenty of sleep both during the day and the night. But see that you don’t do this at the cost of sleeping tablets and pills.
Second of all eat healthy and make sure all the important elements of your diet are present in your daily intake. Make sure you have those healthy supplements and drinks, if you don’t know about your supplementary composition such as vitamins, proteins and minerals. See that you don’t skip meals and this is especially in relation to your breakfast, and increase your intake of calcium and protein. This would serve good both for your baby and you.
Reduce your caffeine intake as this has been considered to be the main cause of birth injuries and miscarriages. So see that you either reduce them or totally avoid them.
See that you regularly exercise and take regular walks in your garden or nearby lane. This would automatically make your delivery much easier and quicker. And just in case you don’t seem to exercise regularly or never before then consult your doctor as to which one be the best exercise suited according to your pregnancy.
Avoid other medicines as much as you can and see that you consult the doctor or your physician every time you take them. This would ensure that your baby would have a normal delivery since there would be no side effects.
Here’s what you should avoid:
Avoid eating fish that have high mercury levels in them. There are many such fishes such as the tuna or the sword fish and even those sharks.
Don’t participate in such activities that would endanger both you and your child such as don’t drive and even if you are then wear a seat belt. Don’t smoke or take illegal drugs and medicines as these could be extremely harmful for your baby’s birth.
Don’t take very hot baths and use mild sops and bathing lotions.
