Medical Help
There are about six or even seven babies out of a ratio of 1000 babies that suffer these kinds of birth injuries every year. This is only the report of the birth injuries that are taking place in the U.S. well I really don’t want to know what would be the global report or the global survey. And with nearly more than half or nearly half of them are reported from the state of California every year.
These birth injuries could occur because of many reasons such and the most common causes of the birth injury is because the baby may be lying in an abnormal position, or the baby is very large and heavy thereby adding to his problems while delivery. Then there are other such reasons such as abnormal birthing style where the legs and the buttocks come out instead of the head coming out first.
Other reasons that could be cited for this horrific and catastrophic event is because of the mothers prolong illness or ill health. Sometimes even poor pre-existing health condition and various other complications could be held responsible for such events that most of the parents would not even like to think about. Sometimes the lack of care and negligence of the doctor and the nurses also leads to these unfortunate moments.
So what should be done after you come to know this horrific truth that your child has suffered a birth injury? Well the first thing that you need to know is what were the conditions that existed during this happening of this horrific event? Was it the fault and the negligence of the doctor and the nurse? or was it a natural occurrence? First of all knowing the general causes of these kinds of birth injuries seem to be the most important as based upon that you could resort to both medical and legal help.
Birth injuries usually ward off or fade away with the passage of time; this is usually for a temporary period and time. And this can be done with some massage along with proper food and diet of both the child and the mother. This is because the mother needs to be healthy too since she has to feed the baby and keep it healthy.
So worse come worse, if the birth injury would not fade away or seems to be permanent then the doctor would again have to perform a surgery over the baby. This has always yielded positive results and one can only keep on praying that even you would have some good news of your baby.
